that strange Christmas!
this morning are not my parents' house, the house where I grew up.
not hear the mother in the kitchen that starts to fry for the evening: Romanesco broccoli, anchovies, cheese, apples, zucchini.
This year it's up to fry me
one week is on the hunt for recipes for the batter, who knows which of his books in the kitchen will be marked, so I'll have to wait to move house to I can see to put his books.
will be a great Christmas, who lived among people who love
will be a different Christmas, but no less beautiful
THE NIGHT SANTA
Guido Gozzano
- Cheer up, Mary, your pilgrimage!
we have reached. Here Bethlehem decorated with trophies.
we stand at that tavern,
because they are too tired and too tired you are.
The tower body slowly
six.
- You have a little 'of the place, O ye of Grey Knight?
- Signori, ce ne duole: è notte di prodigio;
- Tutto l'albergo ho pieno, soppalchi e ballatoi:
Tutto l'albergo ho pieno
- Siamo a sosta - But how much snow, how much!
A little 'warm us that ass and that ox ... Maria
already fades, divinely stricken ... The tower shell
Santa midnight.
was born!
Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
was born on Sovereign Child.
night, which was already so dark,
shines a star of the divine.
Come, bagpipes, played more Gaje
; ring O bells!
Come, shepherds and housewives, or
people near and far!
not thirst, soft carpets,
but, as in the books said
four thousand years, the Prophets,
a bit of straw to bed. For four thousand years
paused attentive
quest'ora su tutte le ore.
È nato! È nato il Signore!
È nato nel nostro paese!
Risplende d'un astro divino
La notte che già fu sì buia.
È nato il Sovrano Bambino.
È nato!
Alleluja! Alleluja!
